The Finance Committee today (Jan. 27) kicked off the markup of the economic stimulus bill that includes provisions prohibiting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) from recouping any duties from trade remedy cases collected on imports from Canada and Mexico and distributed under the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act (CDSOA), also known as the Byrd amendment.
