The Court of International Trade late last month rejected all three claims from the U.S. Steel corporation and other interested domestic parties that the Commerce Department had inappropriately eliminated antidumping (AD) duties it had previously imposed on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from the Netherlands.

The U.S. Court of International Trade has ruled that the retaliatory duties imposed by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative for the European Union's ban on U.S. beef treated with artificial growth hormones expired in July 2007, because USTR failed to apply a larger law governing modifications and terminations of customs duties.
